Natural History Museum

by acollins
On Friday 20th of June 2nd class went on a surprise trip to the Natural History Museum, known to some as “the dead zoo”. We saw a wonderful selection of animals on display some native Irish and many from all over the World.
The huge basking shark and the skeleton of the humpback whale proved most popular with the boys and girls. Afterwards we had a picnic in St. Stephen’s Green, on our way there we also bumped into the Taoiseach Enda Kenny and gave him a few high fives.
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the day and we were rightly proud of the children who received numerous compliments on how good they were.
