Dublin International Film Festival

by cquigley
We were thrilled to be invited as guests to the Dublin International Film Festival. It’s the first year it has been opened up to children so it was very exciting for us. As part of the commemoration of the 1916 rising, the festival were showing some films which were screened during the rebellion. We visited City Hall for a special screening with the Lord Mayor. For many of us it was our first experience of silent movies but we all agreed Charlie Chaplin was very funny and the live musical accompaniment was a great experience.
