Springtime Fun in 3rd Class

by admin
We have been busy this Spring in 3rd practicing our Irish for Seachtain na Gaeilge. In keeping with the Irish theme we had our 1st hurling match of the season and though defeated 2-1 we are now practicing harder then ever now to win our next match! There is a great ability and passion for the sport evident in all our players! We also took a trip with 4th class to St. Patrick’s Cathedral to learn more about our patron saint in preparation for St. Patrick’s Day. It was a sunny afternoon and all the children had lots of fun after in the playground nearby. The countdown to the Easter holidays is now on…we can’t wait!!!
