On Friday April 22nd our 6th Class made their Confirmation. It was a very special day and the children spent a long time preparing to ensure everything was perfect.
Archbishop Diarmuid Martin could not attend and so Fr Niall took over the duties and confirmed each child. The children have a great relationship with Fr Niall and so the ceremony was very special and very personal.
The children all performed their duties excellently on the day and we were very proud of each and every one of them.
Thanks to Fr. Niall, Fr Richie, Anita and the Parish Team for their tremendous support. This is Anita’s final confirmation with us as she’s retiring at the end of this year. We want to thank her for all her help and dedication throughout the past few years.
Our choir, under the leadership of Sarah Joy Hill and Ms Dempsey, was fantastic, we also had the beautiful musical talents of Ms Arntz and Ms Healy.
Finally we couldn’t forget the endless hard work of Ms. Fleming and Cathy. Their incredible efforts made this a very special day for all the children. We would also like to pay tribute to Mr McAdam who also worked hard to prepare the children for their big day.
Congratulations to all the boys and girls, your parents are very proud of you; as are we!
